We're looking for a passionate digital marketer to join Slicedbread Agency as our Director of Digital Marketing Strategy. We are looking for a strategic leader who will drive performance across all digital channels including web, app, mobile, media, email, sms, and loves to use data to tell a story. This role will lead a team of Strategists that work with various clients.

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Establishes and empowers a standard of excellence for strategic approach and deliverables for all Strategists

  • Oversees a team of Strategists that lead the creation and execution of strategic deliverables

  • Leads learning for Strategy team, identifying opportunities for ongoing education for team members, while devising systems for development of those learnings for clients

  • Ability to lead strategy presentations

  • Responsible for setting and enabling all aspects of the strategic process: setting KPIs and benchmarks, developing timelines, organizing brainstorms, cross-team collaboration, developing decks and collecting feedback from internal stakeholders

  • Stay in the loop on the latest digital, social media and marketing tools, information, trends and opportunities

  • Coach, motivate, and mentor junior team members to ensure a quality employee experience

  • Oversee the RFP process for new business and seek out incremental opportunities for existing clients.

  • Use fast research, planning, and competitive tools to make informed decisions and develop appropriate goals

  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients developing trust

  • Be able to understand and solve complex client problems

  • Focus on client retention

 

Who you are

 

  • You have 8+ years of experience in digital marketing across any/all channels

  • Agency experience preferred

  • Experience as a client facing Digital Strategist

  • Experience managing a team of strategists

  • Listening, empathy, and mentorship a must in this position

  • Advanced knowledge of Digital Media, Paid Search, Paid Social, SEO, Data & Analytics, and Reporting

  • Acts as a strategic thought leader in relevant client meetings with ability to communicate at an executive level with clients

  • Proficiency in data visualization for story telling or reporting purposes

  • Able to constructively share feedback - both the good and the tough.

  • Working knowledge of web design and development

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills for effective communication to clients, internal staff and the management team

  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • You have experience working directly with clients on customer-facing digital marketing programs

  • A self-starter who takes initiative and works effectively, and thrives in a changing, fast-moving agency

  • Help to screen potential team members
